Our Fees and Timescales

Our extensive experience includes instructions in all types of work from various professionals, from solicitors to barristers and accountants. 

As early adopters of relaxation of rules on access to justice, we are experts at taking work directly and increasingly  from companies, businesses and members of the public who may take advantage of our services via Direct Public Access. And licensed access

We aim to deal with all instructions and papers within a reasonable timeframe which we will endeavour to agree on acceptance of instructions/papers. We can agree dates for a speedy turnaround or specific dates for each individual circumstances. Timeframes may be affected by complexity or interaction with outside parties such as courts or statutory bodies; we will keep clients apprised of any such factors.


Versatility with fees

Our barristers recognise that the same pricing model will not suit every matter, dependent on the area of law and experience of counsel instructed, our barristers can undertake work on an hourly rate basis, fixed fees, capped fees, deferred and periodic payments, contract fees including block contracts and retainers and Conditional Fee Agreements.

Please note that advance payment of fixed fees is required for all instructions accepted by barristers under the Public Access scheme.
