The people behind every instruction

Every case that comes through TBG is supported by a team working behind the scenes to make sure it runs well. Our clerks, administrators and support staff are experienced, responsive and genuinely easy to deal with. Here is who you will be working with.

Enquiries team

The enquiries team is your first point of contact at TBG. They handle all incoming instructions, working with solicitors and clients to understand each matter, gather what is needed and give clear guidance on next steps. From initial enquiry through to quote and instruction, they make sure every request is assessed quickly and set up correctly — so that by the time a case moves into case management, it is already in good shape.

Professional Standards and Direct Access

This team covers two connected areas of TBG's work. On the public access side, they coordinate instructions where clients are working directly with a barrister without a solicitor — managing documentation, keeping communication clear and guiding matters through from start to finish.

On the professional standards side, they oversee conduct, complaints and regulatory compliance, handling concerns independently and transparently and maintaining the frameworks that protect clients and support barristers. Together, they make sure TBG operates to a consistently high standard, whether that is in how cases are managed or how the organisation holds itself to account.
