Michael has worked as a CISAS (Communication and Internet Service providers) adjudicator and as a mediator of the Funeral Arbitration Service. Michael also has extensive experience of community mediation with both Mediation Hertfordshire and Lambeth Mediation Service and resolution of disputes arising in the context of Schools.

He is particularly keen on working with parties who wish to continue a relationship beyond the resolution of their dispute. He is the author of ‘Mediation and Other Forms of ADR’, Routledge, 2024
