He has published in leading legal journals on arbitration and enforcement, and is actively involved in professional development and mentoring. Steven trains pupils and new practitioners at Lincoln’s Inn, delivers continuing professional development programmes in Malaysia, and serves on advisory boards including ALSA UK.

His broad practice includes serious and complex crime, commercial fraud, international arbitration and Mediation. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK) and an accredited mediator in the UK and Malaysia. He is a Panel Arbitrator and Mediator at the Asian International Arbitration Centre (Malaysia) and am a Door Tenant at Blackrock Chambers (Dubai).
Steven holds a Diploma in Corporate Governance and a Professional Certificate in the EU’s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), equipping him with board-level insight into ESG compliance, transparency, and ethical leadership.
