Each year, The Barrister Group team nominates a charity to support over the next twelve months. Throughout this period, we host fundraising events, help raise awareness, and, where appropriate, provide specialist legal support via our barristers.
Support SEND Kids
We are delighted to announce that our chosen charity for 2025 is Support SEND Kids. Support SEND Kids helps children with SEND — Special Educational Needs or Disabilities — access the education and opportunities to which they have a legal right.
Support SEND Kids want every child to be the best version of themselves, yet without help, SEND children struggle in education and beyond. The Support SEND Kids charity aims to increase legal understanding by bringing together SEND families, lawyers, schools and local authorities to exchange questions and answers and share free guidance.
Access to justice is at the heart of all they do — which is exactly why they're our charity of the year.
