Mediation Style

Christopher has developed a knowledge and skillset in the best traditions of the relationship-led, general legal practictioner. He believes that the breadth of his experience problem-solving with people and their businesses is a strength that he can bring to parties hoping to resolve their commercial disputes promptly and cost-effectively.

Professional Background

Christopher was called to the Bar in 1990, a graduate of the Inns of Court School of Law, and is a member of the Inner Temple. He is also a graduate of the Guildford LPC, University of Law.

He has an MBA from London Business School and has led or participated in the senior management of businesses. Over the last 5 years, he has practised as a General Counsel in-house to the owners and boards of a limited number of SMEs, turnovers ranging from £2m - £40m. He can be expected to grasp business issues and their full, and sometimes deep, implications quite rapidly.

He is a keen racing yachtsman (skipper) and dinghy sailor. He is a member of the Royal Ocean Racing Club ("RORC"), the Junior Offshore Group ("JOG"), the RYA and his local dinghy club. He hopes to develop a practice assisting in yachting/boating related disputes
