Paul Newman

Paul Newman has a mixed practice comprising contentious construction and property law. He is familiar with the standard form construction industry contracts and has experience of a wide range of bespoke agreements.

Both as counsel and as a mediator Paul deals with final account disputes, including extensions of time, building defects' claims, professional negligence claims against building professionals. He is experienced in litigation, arbitration, adjudication and mediation.

Professional Background

In property law Paul has many years experience of boundary disputes, rights of way and property damage claims. He also deals with private nuisance and property related harassment claims. 

Paul is a TecBar and Chartered Institute of Arbitrators’ (Business Arbitration Scheme (BAS)) listed arbitrator and an accredited adjudicator (RIBA). He is listed as a TecBar and UK Adjudicators adjudicator. He is a member of the RIBA Professional Conduct Panel. Paul is an ADR accredited mediator and a panel mediator for ADR Group, CMC and TecBar. He has been a qualified civil and commercial mediator for around 20 years.
